Michele Tamaren
Michele Tamaren is a spiritual director, writer, presenter, and personal coach. She is the co-founder of the Council for Spiritual Connection, an interspiritual collaborative that seeks to create a more compassionate world where the human family respects our shared humanity, our one heart, and our precious planet. It provides opportunities for people of all faiths to gather in celebration of the One Spirit that unites us. For more than twenty-five years Michele taught special education, working with youngsters challenged by physical, learning, neurological, and behavioral disorders. She wrote and lectured widely on teaching consideration and sensitivity in the inclusive classroom. Currently Michele speaks on spirituality, interspirituality, healing, happiness, and aging with dignity at churches, synagogues, university graduate programs, art associations, councils on aging, and retreat centers. She is listed in Who’s Who in American Education, Who’s Who of American Women, and Who’s Who in America.
